The Shukmed Defibrillation Electrodes are designed to deliver electrical pulses from a defibrillator to a patient, facilitating cardiac defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and ECG monitoring. These electrodes are pre-connected, compatible with several Nihon Kohden defibrillators, and intended for adult patients weighing at least 10 kg. They can endure up to 15 consecutive defibrillation loads at 360J.

• Material Composition:

1. Backing: Waterproof flexible white PE foam with biocompatible acrylic adhesive.
2. Conductive Area: Tin foil with conductive acrylic-based hydrogel, biocompatible.
3. Protective Liner: PET.
4. Cable: Copper with non-toxic PVC coating.

• Biocompatibility: Free from natural latex, phthalates, and compounds of animal or biological origin; meets ISO 10993-5, ISO 10993-10 standards.
• Electrical Properties:

1. AC Impedance at 10Hz: <3000Ω.
2. AC Impedance at 30kHz: <10Ω.
3. AC large signal impedance: <5Ω.
4. DC offset voltage: <100Mv.

• Pre-connected cable to save time and to reduce risk of errors, thus saving lives.

• Recommended Use: Maximum permanence time on patient skin is 24 hours.
• Size: Electrode pad measurements are 105mm x 155mm with an active area of 79.45 cm² each.
• Packaging: Each primary packaging contains a set of 2 defibrillation pads. Service boxes contain 10 units.
• Regulatory Compliance: Compliant with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and manufactured under ISO 13485 certified Quality Assurance System. Classified as Class I product according to Annex IX of the Directive 93/42/EEC, rule 1.
• Shelf Life: 2 years from the manufacturing date.
