Halsted-Mosquito Delicate Haemostatic Forceps, Serrated, Straight, 14 cm
Part No.: MS-DE-021-1
Manufacturer: Manning Surgical
Country of Origin: United Kingdom
The Halsted-Mosquito Delicate Haemostatic Forceps (Serrated, Straight, 14 cm) are used to clamp small blood vessels and to hold fine tissue during general, plastic and dermatological surgery. The slender straight jaws have fine transverse serrations for a secure, non-slip grip, and the ratchet lock keeps the clamp closed so the surgeon's hands stay free. The 14 cm length gives a little more reach than the standard 12.5 cm pattern.
Features:
- Fine Transverse Serrations: Grip small vessels and delicate tissue securely without slipping.
- Straight Tapered Jaws: Give direct access and accurate clamping in shallow to moderately deep surgical sites.
- Ratchet Lock: Holds the jaws closed at the required pressure for hands-free haemostasis.
- 14 cm Length: Extra reach compared with the 12.5 cm mosquito forceps, with the same delicate jaws.
- Surgical Stainless Steel: Corrosion-resistant, reusable and suitable for steam sterilization.
